Soapnuts are the most organic way to wash your sheets, towels and your clothes. Our soapnuts come inside a 100% bamboo bag, and a laundry bag, also of 100% bamboo, is included.

Soapnuts come from a tree of the Sapindus genus. The nuts contain saponin, a natural detergent that work in top and front loader washing machines. Cold water is perfectly suitable, unless your wash is particularly dirty, when you could use the soapnuts in hot water.

Just put 6-8 half nut shells in our 100% bamboo laundry bag, tie them and throw into the washing machine. No need to add anything else! You can use this bag of nuts for 6 washes, and then put the soapnuts into the compost.

The soapnuts have a rather strange smell, but the linen and clothes just smell fresh!
